Covid-19
Response
Safety measures are being practiced to reduce risk of transmission of Covid-19. We are currently seeing patients at reduced frequency to give us plenty of time to keep up with extra cleaning and safety protocols. Prior to the Governor's statewide stay-at-home order, our practice closed on March 11 and reopened on June 1, 2020.
Check out our new normal below.
NEW NORMAL

Wait in Car
Our waiting room is currently closed. Upon arrival, please wait in your car and send a text message or call. At your appointment time we'll come out for your screening.
Screening
In order to identify possible symptoms of Covid-19, screening questions will be asked before arrival for your appointment. Upon arrival, a temperature screening will be conducted before intake. If any symptoms are identified, your appointment will be cancelled without penalty, and rescheduled as appropriate.

Protective Gear
If you do not have a mask, please let us know before hand and one will be provided for you to wear as you enter the facility. At this time, we currently have masks on hand provided by the West Virginia Mask Army. Your therapist will be wearing a mask and face shield throughout your interactions.
Handwashing
Sink with handsfree soap dispenser is located within the treatment suite. Therapist and patient will both wash hands before your session. Doorstops are utilized so that no doorknobs need touched during your session.
HEPA Filtration
Our new portable air filtration provides air circulation in the suite approximately six times per hour. It's "UV-C light helps kill airborne viruses and works with titanium dioxide to reduce volatile organic compounds. True HEPA air filter reduces up to 99.97% of harmful particles as small as .3 microns from the air."
According to the CDC "Portable fan devices with high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtration that are carefully placed can increase the effective air changes per hour of clean air to the patient room, reducing risk to individuals..."
Surface Cleaning
Surfaces are wiped down with 70% alcohol solution between each session. Appointments are scheduled with ample time to carry out proper sanitation.
Monitoring Data
We continue to keep a close eye on data from the WV Department of Health and Human Resources as well as guidelines from the office of our Governor and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. At any time, it may become necessary to cancel appointments because of public health concerns. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience, but assure you we prioritize your safety.
