Covid-19

Response

Safety measures are being practiced to reduce risk of transmission of Covid-19. We are continually monitoring scientific research to adjust them as needed. Check them out below.

 NEW NORMAL

Video Chat

Before your first visit you'll have the opportunity to do your initial intake by videoconference. This will allow for a personal interaction in without masks. If you would like to take advantage of this option, please let us know when you book your initial session.

Waiting Room Open

Our waiting room is now open! When you arrive at our building, please take the elevator to the second floor and have a seat in the lobby. We'll be out to greet you at your appointment time.

Screening

We'll do a temperature screening before your session. If any symptoms of Covid-19 are identified, your appointment will be cancelled without penalty, and rescheduled as appropriate.

Protective Gear

In accordance with the latest CDC recommendations, as a medical practice we continue to require mask wearing for the duration of your time inside our building. Your therapist will be masked as well.

Handwashing

Sinks are easily accessible for hand washing before/after your session. Hand sanitizer is also available within the treatment space.

HEPA Filtration

Our portable air filtration provides air circulation in the suite approximately six times per hour. It's "UV-C light helps kill airborne viruses and works with titanium dioxide to reduce volatile organic compounds. True HEPA air filter reduces up to 99.97% of harmful particles as small as .3 microns from the air."

According to the CDC "Portable fan devices with high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtration that are carefully placed can increase the effective air changes per hour of clean air to the patient room, reducing risk to individuals..."

Surface Cleaning

The treatment table is wiped down with 70% alcohol solution between each session.

Monitoring Data

We continue to keep a close eye on data from the WV Department of Health and Human Resources as well as guidelines from the office of our Governor and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. At any time, it may become necessary to cancel appointments because of public health concerns. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience, but assure you we prioritize your safety.
